Happy New Year!!!! Happy Sweet 16!

Well, Happy 2016, as I call it "Sweet 16".  I am excited to start the New Year, with some new goals and strategies.  I don't make resolutions, to me they are like diets, I never stick to them.  I make goals, and I strategies on how to keep them.  It is more about changing, learning and evolving. 

Well, it has been 8 days since I have been to Target, no after Christmas sales for me.  The week from Christmas to New Years is all about family, no shopping, no spending, just enjoying each other’s company.  Also because, I was in Coronado, and there is no Target in town, I would have to drive over the Coronado Bridge, into San Diego and that seems like a lot of work.   
With that said, I got a lot of Target cards for Christmas and I'm ready to spend.  First I needed to completely rid my house of anything Holiday.  I love all the lights and Christmas decorations, but once my house is cleaned, my house looks fresh and clean!
I will then, start with the kid’s rooms, and clean out any and all old clothes, toys and stuff.   Then, buy new bedding; this happens twice a year, in January and June.  I usually buy new sheet sets and new pillows.   Next, I will clean their closest and drawers, they seem to grow from June to January so I will go through their clothes and donate them.
Then, for me, I will buy new bath towels, I love a fresh fluffy towels and with 4 people in the house, our towels never look fresh after a few months of use and wash. 


I am off to organize and clean up!   


oh, and one more thing, I do buy a few new work out pieces, because I do set a mileage goal for walking and running, and I have to look good while doing it.

Christmas Shopping Galore - Jeggings and Boots Galore!

I love Christmas shopping.  I loving giving gifts, I love making people smile but this year I have been so busy with work and kids so I'm running a bit behind.    I have ordered a ton of stuff on-line, as I have mentioned before, Target has FREEEE Shipping.  I love it and so far I have managed to fool my kids.  Packages have arrived, left at my door step, the kids see them and ask, Christmas presents for me?   Nope, shoes for me.   They believe me, I love that they don't questions my shopping. 
That is the good part of my shopping, now the bad, really bad.  I have to confess I have bought myself a lot of new things.  I know, I'm terrible, but there are so many great sales out there, especially at Target and I can't pass that up.
First of all, I bought Mossimo, mid-rise (I am a mother, remember that) fitted hip & thigh Jeggings.   Oh my goodness, these are my ultimate favorite pants, ever!  First of all, they are so comfortable, they fit so well and always look great.  They are Jeggings, but not that crazy too tight, shows every bump and what-not, they are the PERFECT, smooth and clean lines  Jeggings.     I love the narrow leg, I can wear them with ballet flats, which is my thing.  Or with boots, (my other thing) they look so good with boots, and you don't have to wear a long sweater to cover all your parts, these Jeggings are fitted like a legging/ tailored jean.   I loved them so much, I went back the next day and bought another pair, in black.   These are my main stays, my every days, my look polished and neat all the time, pants.  I wore my black Jeggings/jeans out with my friends, who only buy, very expensive jeans and who don't get my obsession with Target and they loved them and went out and bought both pair.   Just saying, don't know unless you try them on.

Now, another reason I love them, they are the most perfect boot Jeggings.  I'm on a boot kick right now.   A month ago I bought the Olive bootie, then the Black OTK (over the knee) with the faux zipper. Then 2 weeks ago, I found Taupe, Ellis boot, on sales, and I had a coupon for 20% off my whole purchase, I scored. 
So, see, it is not so bad, right?  I may have bought a lot of stuff for myself, but they are from TARGET, SO cute and so affordable.   I feel better, confessing my Christmas shopping  guilt.


Tonight,  I have my friends Christmas party to attend, this is what I'm wearing: (it's a casual party, just girls, just fun)

Black Merona, V-Neck Cable knit sweater
Oh, and my Faux, Mossimo leather jacket.


I'm sure I will get, really, it is all from Target?  Yes, it is! And I am sure I will see my friends sporting their new Mossimo Jeggings.


Tomorrow will be all about wrapping (rapping with a W).
