Pink Pig and 4th grade class party!

I am checking things off my list, one item at a time. Searched and found the adorable Pink Pig. 

I have to drive 26 miles to get it, but it will be so worth it Christmas morning. I can’t wait to see the surprise on her face!

 

Today is the last day before a 3 week, winter school break.  4th grade party is in 3 hours.  The kids will enjoy a snack bar, a Cutie will be placed on each desk, Citrus is very symbolic of winter.  Many years ago, it was not as easy to get fresh fruit in the winter months. The kids will also decorate placemats to our local senior living home, to be used for their holiday party.  Every child was asked be bring a pack of socks to donate to the homeless shelter.

 

It will be a fun day with a lot of music, snacking, sharing and giving.  Cheers to all of you Moms, Dads, Uncles, Aunts and Grandparents who go above and beyond to make the holidays special!

Shopping day is now shipping day!

Yesterday was a great shopping day.  I checked a lot of items off my list, except for the Pink Christmas Pig, from Target.  My daughter has been wanting this pig since last year, every time we walk by it in the store she asked for it.  She even wrote to Santa Clause about, the cute Pink Pig.   I waited too long and now they are out of stock.  The nice Target guy told me they maybe getting some in by this weekend.  I am hoping Santa will find it, and have it set up on the front lawn for her on Christmas morning. 

As for today, it is the last day to ship the last of the gifts.  I have all the labels written, everything bubble wrapped and gift cards sealed.  It should make it easy when I get to the post office. 

2 packages to Ohio and 1 to San Jose and 1 to LA.   Now to time it just right, if I get the post office before 3 pm, the line should not be too long.  Wish me luck!

Time to dash off.  Next on the list is gift cards, Hot topic for my daughter, CVS for my son (that is his after school hang) and Starbucks for Mom.

The rain, this California rain.

My shopping day was almost derailed by a huge rain storm.  I waited it out, but I gave up and the rainy day won. Or did it? I shopped online, and now much of the items I needed will be shipped to family members directly and a few items to me.  Win, Win Target, Zappo and Amazon.

I still have tons to do.  I will be up early tomorrow, I may need an Ark to navigate this weather but I will get out of this house and finish off the last gifts on my list. 

My basket is loaded with all my shopping accessories.  Once I get my large Latte, I will be ready to zip from store to store.

10 days and counting!!!

10 Days and counting, power shopping starts today.  Sunday ads reviewed, #Target Cartwheel updated and paper coupons in hand.

Updated my list last night, I will review it again, this morning.  I made a mistake and went shopping Thursday without it and I wasted a couple hours trying to remember exactly what everyone wanted. 

On my list today; my mother, mother in law, sister and sister in law. They are all very different, but very similar.  

Even if you shop on your lunch hour, try to grab one item, for one person, it’s less overwhelming!

Holiday Party weekend! No time for shopping. 

My Targetredbasket was used to carry all my party goodies; Deliveries of Wine, gifts, desserts and flowers.

Once Monday morning hits, I will be back at it.  My basket will be used for what it was intended for, Shopping!
